Students in Mrs. Paulk's 8th Grade Physical Science class observed a "Chemicool Reaction" as they were learning about lab safety rules and chemical reactions. They made polyurethane foam. As the chemicals were reacting the students could feel their cups get warm. Because of this, they knew it was an exothermic reaction.

Rehobeth Middle School serves approximately 537 students in grades 6 through 8. The school is part of the Houston County School system.

Important Info About STI Home
The Alabama State Department of Education is in the process of converting from STI to Information Now. This new system for managing grades, schedules, attendance etc. will likely not be available online until the 2nd semester.
RMS Misson Statement
The mission of RMS is to establish an environment which nurtures the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of all students while encouraging learners to reach their full potentials as they advance toward future educational opportunities.
Cell Phone Policy
Cell phones will not be allowed on school campus or buses (regular routes) during the school day.
1st Offense - Saturday School
Parent may pick phone up from the school office at the end of the school day.
2nd Offense - 3 Day Alternative School
Parent may pick up phone after conference with a school administrator.
3rd Offense - 3 day suspension
No make-up work is permitted while student is suspended.
Parent may pick up phone at the Central Office.
Make-Up Days: If school is cancelled for any reason, the time will be made up at a time determined by the Superintendent.
